“All you have to do is write one true sentence. Write the truest sentence that you know.”

[ Ernest Hemingway ]

I’ve meant to launch all of this for a year, maybe two. But I didn’t have the words. Or the courage. Or the confidence. Or… well, I don’t know what it was. But I do know that now, in December of 2018, I have finally managed to release my heart enough into the world that I feel present again. I’m not scrambling around trying to figure out what it should look like. I’ve let something – maybe everything – go, and now I might be flying a little bit. I’ve got so much that has been waiting to be born, and now I am here, and it’s here, and forward is a direction I can take.

The rebrand has come with a new instagram (follow me there if you don’t already!) and some incredible new work, and it’s going to come official over the next few weeks with a newsletter launch and some beautiful giveaways, including a wedding shoot (or two). If you’re not digging through my new site, you’ll want to watch the blog here again this week for a special feature of my favorite self-portraits of all time, shot during our recent stay in Italy, and next week, I’ll begin sharing my Italy travels with you.

It’s all coming faster than I can feel ready for it – but I can’t wait. I’m looking forward to the next steps on this journey, actually walking and feeling as though I am running. It’s kind of exhilarating and exhausting and amazing and oh, you’re coming along with me, aren’t you?

I’ve literally just discovered you today, via the Lane – and I’m totally blown away by the romance, honestly and fragility/strength in your work. Wow. Excited to see what’s next from you and I have so many questions, but thank you for the inspiration.
